Hello,
We are planning on joining Lifetime Fitness at 281/Sonterra.
Through Google I've found that some locations in other cities give discounts to diverse corporations, military, city employees, law enforcement, etc.
Does anyone know of any discounted membership plans in San Antonio?
Tin anyone please tell me what you are paying for a monthly membership?
I'd like to be armed with a picayune background information of the going rates for memberships when I go to purchase.
Cheers!

Take any kids of working historic period? That's the best way !! I only paid $40 a month when my daughter worked there ... when she quit I had to pay $75 a month for only me. Lifetime does non have any discount for State Employees and when I worked for a PD the only thing they did was give me a slight discount on the sign up fee. I miss Lifetime, but information technology'southward too far abroad and I can't afford it!!

Unless you lot are in a rush...wait until they offer a bargain on the initial registration fee, which is near $400. Nosotros only signed up for the gym in March when they were waiving that entire fee. If you get on their electronic mail list, I believe they send out regular discount offers and -- although don't quote me on this -- may offering some military machine/other discounts besides.

Call up information technology is actually ane of the best deals in town, especially since no contracts are required and they offer gratis childcare all day long. Very family friendly.

I went in for a trail and later on a month I told them I was not interested at the price of 75 a month. When I started walking out the door, she told me she could exercise it for 30. I took that offer.

I think that is how it works.

Accept you lot checked out Planet Fettle? They accept two locations: one near Crossroads Mall and another in the San Pedro/McCullough/410 area. Membership is virtually $22/month for the hubby and I. Almost $12/calendar month for one person. You should bank check them out to see if its something that fits your needs.

I call back Lifetime Fitness is a huge ripoff. I am an avid bodybuilder, accept been for seven years. I don't need towel service, a juice/food bar, tv'southward surrounding me everywhere, nail salons, hair salons, 200 tread mills, ect...

When I first came to TX eight mo. ago LifeTime was downward the street where I live in Stone Oak. They wanted $175 down and $75 a month? What exactly am I paying for, all the amenities I will never use that I have to pay for if I want to use? I get to the gym to conditioning, and railroad train hard. That is my goal. I demand free weight conditioning equipment, squat racks, power racks, and some decent weight. I don't go to the gym for a froo froo atmosphere.

I chose Golds, it was 0 down $35 a month and has everything I demand.

I ofttimes wonder the point of people payingover $1000 a year for a gym membership to walk on a treadmill. Makes no sense to me.

it'due south a deal for parents. In that location is no other place where I can driblet these kids off at a HUGE play place for upward to ii hours anytime of the solar day seven days of the week. Plus they have the family puddle, which is really why we joined in the offset place. (I'm merely guilted into exercising equally to not waste product the membership)Went to a Golds years agone and it was overflowing with young, tan, serious bodybuilders. Very intimidating. Lifetime definitely has all shapes, sizes and ages. Sometimes comfort and convienence trumps dollars and cents.
